3. Information That MINI Toronto Collects:
(a) Information You Provide and User Options Regarding Personal Information
You may be asked to voluntarily give your personal information to MINI Toronto when you interact, orally, in writing, or by electronic transmission, with MINI Toronto, including when you apply for an account or membership, subscribe to a newsletter, register to receive information, apply or register for or order a product or service offered by MINI Toronto or use a product or service provided by MINI Toronto. MINI Toronto may continue to periodically obtain your credit score and related information from a credit reporting agency to update your confidential profile for use by MINI Toronto Gas set out in this Privacy Policy. (b) Interest-Based Advertising
MINI Toronto may use interest-based advertising services (sometimes called “remarketing” or “retargeting”) provided by third-party vendors (such as Google and Facebook) to display advertisements on third-party websites and social media sites visited by users of MINI Toronto’s website. Advertising vendors (such as Google and Facebook) use cookies, pixels, or tokens – unique identifiers of a web browser on a specific computer that are installed on the computer when it accesses MINI Toronto website – to display ads based on the computer’s past access to MINI Toronto website. Our Anti-Spam Policy tolerates only permission-based email, subscription to emails, or information requested to be provided through email or phone. We obtain your consent by asking you to choose to opt out of our mailing list or opt in. By checking the opt-in box when contacting us, through the forms available, you agree to be contacted by us for the purposes described in the Disclaimer. All emails sent to you will be compliant with CASL and include:

MINI Toronto may disclose your personal information to its suppliers and service providers (including fraud prevention services and payment processors) to assist MINI Toronto in the provision of information, products, and services to you, to provide services to MINI Toronto, to assist MINI Toronto to use your personal information as set out in this Privacy Policy and as otherwise permitted by applicable law.

We may also disclose your personal information where we are required or permitted by law to do so. We collect personal information from you when you provide the information directly to us, such as when you contact us or when you enter your personal information on our website.
Like other companies, we share information with our affiliated companies, third-party service providers, MINI Canada, BMW Canada, and certain business partners in order to conduct our business activities and protect our rights.
6. Location of Personal Information:
MINI Toronto and its service providers may process, store and use your personal information at facilities in various countries, including Canada, the United States of America, and one or more countries in Europe or Asia. The personal information protection laws of those other countries might be different from the laws of the jurisdiction in which you reside and might permit courts, government, law enforcement agencies, regulatory agencies, and security authorities to access your personal information without notice. By providing your personal information to MINI Toronto, you consent to the transfer of the personal information to facilities located in other countries and the processing and storage of the personal information at those facilities.
7. Retention of Personal Information:

4.1.
Assistive Devices
4.1.1. As a service provider, we are committed to accommodating all persons with disabilities and their companions by any means reasonable. Assistive devices may be used to access MINI Toronto’s premises unless there is a risk to the health and safety of the individual or others or a security risk. This assistance can include, but may not be limited to:
4.1.1.1. Assistive Devices such as walkers, wheelchairs, canes, etc.
4.1.1.2. Communication needs such as visual, audio, sensory, etc.
4.1.1.3. Service animals such as seeing-eye-dogs, etc.

Information and Communication
4.2.1. MINI Toronto will take steps to ensure that all publicly available information is accessible upon request. All publicly available information will be available in various formats to meet the individual needs of customers with disabilities, within a reasonable timeframe, from the General Manager.
4.2.2. The company will take all reasonable steps to ensure that all website and content conform to the Web Content Accessible Guidelines 2.0, by the date specified in the AODA.
4.3.
Notice of Service Disruptions
4.3.1. If there is a situation that occurs which prevents MINI Toronto from being able to provide appropriate access to all customers, notifications will be posted at all customer entrances. This notification will provide details of the reason for the disruption, what is being done in the interim, and the expected duration of the disruption. Should there be an emergency temporary disruption; MINI Toronto will not be able to give satisfactory notice.
4.4.
Feedback Process
4.4.1. The Dealerships acknowledge that customers may wish to provide feedback based on a policy or service. MINI Toronto encourages any person wishing to do so to e-mail the dealership or complete a Feedback Form obtained located on our company website through contact us. Customers will also be given the opportunity to provide alternate methods of feedback, such as verbally or over the telephone. All forms will be submitted to the General Manager and the response given will take into account the person's disability and how best to address the situation.
4.5.
Accessible Emergency and Public Safety Information
4.5.1. MINI Toronto recognizes that persons with disabilities may need assistance in various ways in order to gain access to emergency and public safety information. MINI Toronto is committed to providing customers with publicly available emergency information, which will be available in accessible formats upon request. Furthermore, employees with disabilities will be provided with individualized emergency response information, when necessary.
4.6.
Training
4.6.1. All employees of MINI Toronto will be made aware of their duties and responsibilities when interacting with the public on behalf of the organization. Employees will participate in the self-paced information training provided by Service Ontario.
4.6.2. The training will ensure that employees are comfortable and educated about communicating appropriately and respectfully with customers who have various types of disabilities.
4.7.
Recruiting, Selection, and Employment
4.7.1. MINI Toronto is committed to providing equal and accessible employment practices. Accessible options will be provided throughout the entire recruitment cycle, to ensure that barriers in accommodation are eliminated. The public and staff will be notified that, when requested, MINI Toronto will accommodate people with disabilities during the recruitment and selection process, and accommodations will continue when the candidate is hired.
